Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how RicaMedia handles information in connection with its websites and mobile applications. Some sections apply only when a particular RicaMedia application uses the relevant feature or service.

1. Who We Are

RicaMedia ("RicaMedia", "we", "us", or "our") is a mobile application development studio. Our website is available at ricamedia.cc.

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@ricamedia.cc .

2. Information We May Collect

Information You Provide

Depending on the application, we may receive information you voluntarily provide, such as an email address, account information, support requests, feedback, or other content you submit.

Information Collected Through App Functionality

A particular RicaMedia application may process information required to provide its features. This can include device identifiers, application settings, diagnostics, purchase or subscription status, and technical information such as operating-system version, application version, and device model.

Information From Permissions

An application will request access to device hardware or sensors only when required for a feature and, where applicable, after the operating system presents its permission request.

The specific permissions requested by each application are disclosed through the relevant platform permission dialogs and app-store disclosures.

3. Biometrics

Where an application supports Apple Face ID, Touch ID, Android biometric authentication, or a comparable device authentication mechanism, biometric matching is performed by the device operating system.

RicaMedia does not receive or store the underlying biometric data, such as facial templates or fingerprint data.

An app may receive only the authentication result necessary to continue an authorized operation, subject to the capabilities and security model of the operating system.

4. App Tracking, Advertising Identifiers, and IDFA

Some applications may use advertising or attribution technologies. Where an iOS application seeks access to Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for tracking across apps or websites owned by other companies, it will request authorization through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before performing the applicable tracking.

If an application does not require IDFA or cross-app tracking, it will not request ATT authorization merely to collect ordinary app diagnostics or first-party analytics.

5. Analytics, Crash Reporting, and App Services

Depending on the application, RicaMedia may use third-party service providers to operate analytics, crash reporting, authentication, subscriptions, hosting, or other app functionality.

Potential services may include:

These services are not necessarily enabled in every RicaMedia application. Only providers required by the relevant application are used.

6. How We Use Information

Information may be processed to:

7. Hosting and Service Providers

Our websites and application infrastructure may be hosted using third-party infrastructure providers. The public RicaMedia website is served through an Nginx web server.

Depending on the particular app, additional hosting, cloud, database, analytics, crash-reporting, payment, authentication, or notification providers may process information on our behalf.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, resolving disputes, maintaining security, complying with legal obligations, and enforcing agreements.

Retention periods can differ by application and data type.

9. Push Notifications

Where an application offers push notifications, notifications are sent through the applicable platform's notification infrastructure and subject to the permissions and controls provided by the operating system.

You can generally disable notifications through your device settings.

10. Account Deletion

If a RicaMedia application provides user accounts, users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information through the account-deletion functionality provided within the application, where applicable, or by contacting support@ricamedia.cc .

Where an application supports account creation, its implementation is intended to provide an accessible in-app account deletion mechanism consistent with applicable Apple App Store and Google Play requirements.

Certain information may be retained where required by law, necessary to prevent fraud, or required for legitimate accounting or security purposes.

11. International Processing

Depending on the service providers used by a particular application, information may be processed in countries other than the country in which you reside.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, RicaMedia will use appropriate mechanisms for those transfers.

12. GDPR and EEA/UK Rights

If the General Data Protection Regulation or substantially similar legislation applies to you, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

Depending on the circumstances, processing may be based on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.

13. California and U.S. Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence and the scope of applicable law, you may have rights concerning access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about the disclosure of your personal information.

RicaMedia does not sell personal information for monetary consideration merely because an application contains ordinary analytics or crash reporting.

Where applicable law provides additional rights, requests may be submitted to support@ricamedia.cc .

14. Children's Privacy

Unless an application expressly states otherwise, RicaMedia's applications are not directed to children under the applicable minimum age for independent consent.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

15. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, applications, legal obligations, or data practices change.

The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
